Bayfield Treatment Centre, a private agency that provides support to children, youth and young adults in a Family Based Care Home setting.
We are seeking applications for Part-Time Youth Support Workers in York Region Area.
This role provides for the daily care and supervision of Bayfield's children and youth through the use of various relationship building, mentoring, teaching, conflict resolution, and crisis management skills.
The essential duties and responsibilities of a Youth Support Worker
Provide guidance and mentoring in a nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people with various special needs such as PWS, DS, PTSD, ADHD, ASD, Self-harm.
Assist the children, youth and young adults to reach their full potential in all aspects of their life.
Create and implement programs to increase opportunities for success in all areas of their life.
