We, Academics, are looking for a suitable candidate to support as a Year 2 Teacher for one of our well‑respected schools in the Birmingham, B14 area. This Year 2 Teacher opportunity starts in September 2026 and is a fixed‑2 term contract, which is ideal for teachers seeking a full‑time temporary position.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils
- Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum
- Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
- Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
- To monitor and assess pupils development
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
