Milk Education is partnering with a primary school in Hindley Green (WN2) to recruit a dedicated Year 1 Teaching Assistant to support two Year 1 pupils with SEND on a 1-2-2 basis.

This role is a temporary role working on a long-term supply basis and is to start in September 2026 until December 2026. 

The Year 1 Teaching Assistant role is full-time, working Monday to Friday and the working hours are 08:30am- 15:30pm.

The school is seeking a patient, nurturing individual who can provide consistent support, keep the children focused, and helping to meet their individual learning needs. Responsibilities include preparing resources, supporting daily tasks, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. Experience with SEND and a calm, supportive approach are highly desirable.
