Working from engineering drawings, you'll manufacture precision components to tight tolerances using XYZ manual lathes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
Responsibilities - XYZ Turner
- Set and operate XYZ manual turning machines.
- Machine precision components to specification.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping.
Requirements - XYZ Turner
- Previous experience operating XYZ manual lathes.
- Ability to work to tight tolerances.
- Confident reading engineering drawings.
- Experience using micrometers, verniers and gauges.
- Reliable, self-motivated and quality focused.
