First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic national construction business who are looking to recruit a Works Manager on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Cumbria depot.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Take overall responsibility for the safe delivery and performance of site operations on major projectsLead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet programme and production targetsEnsure all works are delivered in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standardsPlan and manage materials, plant, and equipment across the siteCarry out regular site inspections and ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessmentsSupport project planning activities including work programmes and method statementsLead toolbox talks, task briefings, and promote safe systems of work
