Work Study Residential Safety Assistant

Residence Life & Housing provides a safe, inclusive, & quality residential experience where access to programs, services, & staff ​​​​​​​fosters a sense of community in an environment conducive to learning.

The Residential Safety Assistant (RSAs) will be expected to work a minimum of about 10 hours each week during the academic year when school is in session. Typical hours consist of shifts between 5pm and 2am. RSAs should expect to work weekends and late shifts. Subject to change based on departmental needs.

RSAs will be responsible for the following:

Provide solid customer service and develop community in the residence halls through positive interactions with resident students, guests, and staff.

Ensure safety and security in the residence halls through checking and identification of all persons entering the residence hall and registering guests of resident students.
