Performs semi-skilled winding and related work and performs and/or assists qualified winders with inspecting, repairing, rebuilding, and assembly of equipment sent to the Central Machine Shop (small & large motors, transformers, exciters and generators found in AEP power plants) and performs the same at other places of temporary assignments.

1.) Performs duties including operation of all motor shop tools to perform work such as burning out windings from stators, spray painting, steam cleaning, etc. 'strips coils from motors and prepares for dipping or vpi operations.
