WIC Coordinator

Provide basic nutritional education to patients and their families, assess the nutrition status of patients, plan and initiate medical nutrition therapy as indicated by patient and Requierments, educate and counsel patents and families on nutritional issues either individually or in groups and certify patients for specific public health benefits. Coordinate nutritional services with tribal, state, county and other agencies that are operating nutrition-related programs on the reservation. Provide WIC Coordination services to 1 day a week in compliance with the State of Oregon agreement with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Requirements Associates Degree in Human Services and a Valid Oregon Drivers License and must be insurable through the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal, Tribal and State Law Enforcement.
