Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator – Rowan Court Care Home, Newcastle‑Under‑Lyme.

Overview

The Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator will provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents’ physical, psychological and social well‑being and promote privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Identify the life history, needs and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
• Plan and submit to the Home Manager a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
• Arrange activities, events and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives and visitors.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment and contribute to the positive and professional image of the home.
