Airswift has been tasked by one of our clients to find a Welder to join their team on a 3-month contract in Lunenburg, NS.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the shipyard service operations by managing the welding staff, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating welding projects, and maintaining high quality production standards.
- Supervise and coordinate projects of welders and fabricators.
- Inspect completed projects for accuracy and specifications.
- Train and mentor new and existing welding staff.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Plan and assign welding projects based on production requirements.
- Maintain equipment and arrange repairs when necessary.
- Collaborate with the shipyard yard staff, marine technicians, and operations.
