Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Operations Manager
- Coordinate with Supervisors and/or Lead Hands to determine labour requirements
- Ensure assigned crew and labour resources are utilized efficiently and productively
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and logical manner
- Ensure materials are available, manpower is assigned, and all team members clearly understand their responsibilities
- Attend and contribute to daily production meetings
- Develop and communicate work instructions to ensure adherence to job specifications
- Track and allocate all materials to the appropriate job numbers
- Obtain required work permits as necessary
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project status
- Prepare and manage change orders when required
- Inspect all work prior to Quality Control (QC) inspections
