Job Description
Welding Inspector will be responsible for inspecting the product to ensure it meets required specifications using established inspection techniques (NDT, dimensional inspection, etc.)
Responsibilities:
+ Demonstrates a proven working knowledge of various technical/inspection principles. Tasks assigned require a basic knowledge of concepts and procedures.
+ Demonstrates the ability to solve basic problems with assistance. Recognizes problems in inspection process and reports to appropriate supervisor and/or lead person in a timely manner.
+ Undergo metrology training (use and calibration of gauges) either in a classroom setting or while on the job to be able to use precision measuring devices effectively.
+ Undergo training for visual examination of welds, hardness testing and NDE disciplines.
+ Become familiar with computer systems to retrieve relevant work documents such as engineering drawings, routings (including report entry), applicable transactions a...
