Job Description
Our client, Apex Engineering Technology Group, is seeking hands-on Welders to join their operations. The successful candidates will work on heavy industrial projects, including the operation of a new robotic welding cell featuring a high-powered Hyperfil welder and a Fanuc robot. While training and upskilling in robotic welding operation will be provided, strong foundational skills in heavy industrial welding are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy-duty MIG welding on large industrial components.
- Handle and position heavy items, including crane operation where required.
- Operate grinding, peening, and basic hand tools.
- Weld heavy plate (40mm+) and components such as excavator buckets and mining equipment.
