PRIMARYFUNCTION (job summary/purpose):
The Welder 1 uses equipment to joint metals. The welder or welding operator shall visually inspect for weld defects before releasing material to the next station.
SPECIFICDUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES(List in order of importance)
+ Completes set up procedures and operates/ changeover moderately complex equipment
+ Obtains parts and materials needed to complete tasks.
+ Store and properly identify finished units
+ Maintains an awareness of all safety issues within the area of responsibility and responds
+ Notify the area team leader of unplanned downtime or quality issues...
