Position Summary
The Welder performs preventive maintenance, fabricates weldments, refurbishes refuse containers and compactors, repairs scuffed paint, installs decals, and ensures accurate repair and replacement of components.
Hiring Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities
Performs repairs on all sizes and types of containers and compactors, including road repair. Performs inspections on all welding and cutting equipment to ensure safe operating proceduresMaintains inventory record keeping and ensures adequate material to complete all assigned work efficiently.
