Job Summary
He/she is responsible for ensuring Martinrea and Customer quality requirements are met by identifying and providing input to resolve welding concerns.
Knowledge and Skills (Education)
- Post‑secondary education – Completion of Welding Technologist/Technician Course from a Community or recognized college consisting of two years or more
- Sound understanding of Welding Metallurgy
- Fundamental understanding of NDE techniques
- Sound understanding of Gas Metal Arc Welding, Projection and Resistance Welding
- Manual GMAW experience
- Working experience with industrial robots
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good problem solving skills
- Must be willing to work shifts and be flexible (including overtime on short notice)
- Ability to work well with fellow team members and promote Team concept
