Job Description
Become a key part of the Foremost team as a Weld Automation Operator at our Stettler facility, where precision and innovation meet. This role focuses on both automated and manual welding production.
As a Weld Automation Operator, you’ll oversee the Weld Automation Cell and handle material operations. Your tasks will also include troubleshooting, quality inspections, and supporting continuous improvements in welding processes. Collaborate closely with Lead Hands, Quality Staff, and Foremen to enhance efficiency and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
• Operate automatic welding stations and monitor production quality
• Assist in developing additional weld automation programs
• Perform manual welding and maintenance duties
• Help train and supervise junior employees and apprentices
