Step into a vital role with Foremost as a Weld Automation Operator at our Stettler facility. You'll oversee the welding automation process while performing manual welding and equipment maintenance.
In this position, you will manage the Weld Automation Cell and ensure production quality by monitoring automated processes. Collaborating with Quality Staff and Foremen, you will also assist in the development of automation programs, training junior employees, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications
• Operate and monitor automated welding stations and equipment
• Perform manual production welding when necessary
• Conduct routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks
• Assist in training junior staff and apprentices
