What does a Water Operator do? Think of a plumber fixing a burst pipe in a home. Now imagine fixing a burst water main in the street - the principle is the same, but you're helping keep your community's water supply running.
As a Water Operator, you'll work outdoors maintaining and repairing the water supply network. Your day-to-day duties will include digging trenches, inspecting pipelines, locating faults, and repairing water services. You'll also develop a broad range of technical skills that can lead to future opportunities in technical, supervisory, management, or leadership roles.
