Wastewater Operations Technician

WASTEWATER OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN

Seeking a safety-focused Wastewater Operations Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of wastewater treatment systems and hazardous waste disposal equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring facility systems remain compliant, operational, and well-maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment and disposal systems
• Monitor pumps, blowers, conveyors, and related equipment
• Conduct daily inspections and record system readings
• Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs
• Collect and process stormwater samples
• Maintain operational, maintenance, and waste tracking records
• Receive, handle, recycle, and dispose of hazardous waste materials
• Track waste shipments and maintain compliance documentation
• Perform facility grounds maintenance as needed
