The opportunity 

We're seeking an experienced Waste Education Officer to join our Waste Services team on a contract basis until mid-October 2027.

This is an exciting time to join our team as your key focus will be on the roll out of Food and Garden Organics (FOGO) within the Port Stephens LGA. With implementation planned for mid-2027, you’ll work alongside our Waste Project Officers, supporting the community of Port Stephens through education around best waste practices and waste minimisation programs. 

• This is a contract opportunity until mid-October 2027 – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
• Base Salary Range: $73,236 to $86,085 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + motor vehicle allowance
