**Job Title:** Warehouse Assistant
**Location:** Norwich CT (Onsite)
**Shift:** 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
**Payrate** : $21/hr
**Position Summary:**
The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment and a safe working environment. This role involves a variety of tasks, including receiving and shipping, order picking, operating powered equipment, and general warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and able to lift up to 80 lbs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in receiving, loading, unloading, scanning, and put-away of products
+ Fulfill and load route trucks, boxed beef, and will-call orders
+ Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (after training)
+ Perform order selection, palletizing, stretch wrapping, invoicing, and labeling
+ Rebox product, conduct freezer work as needed, and keep the warehouse clean
