Job Description
General Summary: Responsible for proper receiving, warehousing, and shipping of materials and product. Responsible for inventory accuracy within a given warehouse section.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders to be pulled from work orders to optimize production/utilization of time.
- Prepare orders in the stock transfer and parts areas for shipping.
- Complete SAP and FED UPS shipping transactions.
- Pull parts issued from work orders and stages in proper area to include assembly, machine shop or other assigned area. Notify supervisor or stockroom coordinator of any shortages in materials.
- Responsible for maintaining proper counts of parts pulled, stocked or staged.
- Transfer parts to proper locations in SAP.
- Receive incoming materials. Verify proper counts per packing slip.
