Responsibilities
Responsible for other clerical work related to the maintenance of an accurate inventory of stocks in the warehouse.
- Perform random spot checks of materials on fast‑moving items. Ensure that actual stock on hand tallies with the corresponding bin card.
- Assist in the preparation of the Inventory Analysis Report. Encode all information in the report based on the results of the physical count of materials.
- Provide assistance to the Inventory Specialist in investigating records and balances that do not agree with the inventory count. Trace corresponding documentation.
- Maintain all files related to the Inventory Report.
- Perform other related warehouse functions such as issuance of materials and receipt of materials from suppliers.
- Assist the Data Encoder in inputting all warehouse transactions into the computer.
- Perform other related functions as required.
