Void Maintenance Co-Ordinator

Berry Recruitment is looking for Void Maintenance Coordinators to work for a local authority at the Housing Operations depot in Nursling.

This is a 3‑to‑6‑month contract starting ASAP, with the possibility of extension.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work to trades once an empty property comes in using an in‑house IT system.
• Load inspection sheets, follow through until properly ready to be returned as completed.
• Deal with energy suppliers to ensure properties have gas and/or electric.
• Speak to subcontractors, pest control, asbestos removal companies to ensure necessary work is carried out.
• Use telephone, email and sometimes face‑to‑face contact.
• Update databases and spreadsheets.

Candidate Requirements

• Administration experience is essential.
