Westview provides a flexible externship ranging from two to eight weeks for veterinary students. Collaborating closely with experienced veterinarians, you'll gain hands-on experience in patient care, including history taking, exams, and treatment planning. You'll also build vital communication skills with both medical staff and clients in a fun, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect patient histories and perform physical exams
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist in surgeries and diagnostic procedures
• Offer dental care and diagnostics
