Job Description
The Vessel Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-efficient technical management of 3–5 vessels. Acting as the focal point for all matters concerning assigned ships, the role ensures full compliance with regulatory and company standards while maintaining each vessel’s technical condition, machinery reliability, and energy efficiency within approved budgets. Working closely with the Operations and QHSE teams and supported by a Technical Officer or Purchaser, the Vessel Manager oversees maintenance planning, repairs, procurement, and reporting, providing leadership and technical guidance to onboard teams and representing the company in dealings with owners, auditors, and third parties.
