VDC Coordinator (Edmonton)

Responsibilities

• Be part of a project team working in a fast‑paced setting with project managers, superintendents, and engineers.
• Collaborate with the VDC Leadership team to build and manage a BIM Execution Plan and VDC implementation strategy.
• Understand the owner BIM / Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and use a custom suite of software tools to prepare model‑based deliverables.
• Have the freedom and creativity to develop project‑specific workflows that utilize BIM data for estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling (4D), coordination, field layout, and facilitates management.
• Develop solutions with project stakeholders by performing model‑based design and constructability review, clash detection and visualization.
• Manage and develop Revit models to contain COBie data for asset management.
• Conduct VR walkthroughs of the future built asset with the client to address design concerns.
