Job Description
A Vascular Technologist performs ultrasound and blood pressure studies to investigate the arteries and veins throughout the body. They work closely with Vascular Surgeons to diagnose vascular diseases, thereby assisting in the investigation, management and surveillance of a patient’s vascular condition. Common ultrasound sites include the neck, upper and lower limbs and the aorta.

- Perform vascular pressure studies in adherence to department protocol, which may include ankle/brachial pressure index study (ABPI), toe/brachial pressure study index (TBI), exercise ABPI and transcutaneous oximetry (tcpO2)
