We are looking for Two Research Assistants In Training to join Dr. Eulàlia Genescà’s team.

Research Description

Our research is focused on T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL). We want to resolve questions that require a full range of research from basic to clinical. We aim to provide the physician with new tools, by using basic research data that will have an impact on healthcare, to improve survival rates in patients with this type of leukaemia.

Main Responsibilities

• Interrogate RNA-seq data to identify molecular vulnerabilities and novel targeted therapeutic strategies.
• Desing a drug screening test for T-ALL patients
• Set-up a clinical grade quality control for the drug screening test
• Perform a drug screening test on fresh samples
• Analyse data and report

Requirements

• A high level of motivation and interest.
