Job Description
Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Systems Engineer / Project Manager
We are seeking a V2X Systems Engineer/Project Manager to provide technical support for V2X projects across the US. The role is remote; candidates may work out of any U.S. WSP office such as Detroit, MI, San Diego, CA, Tallahassee, FL, Atlanta, GA, NYC, Washington D.C., or Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical resource on V2X projects for the National Transportation & Infrastructure Business Line supporting regional and local offices
- Develop system engineering and other client documents
- Participate in document review, design review, and project management meetings with state and local government clients
- Design and develop V2X messages to convey road geometry, sensor information, work zone, and other traveler information and warnings to drivers based on V2X and existing client data
