UTILITY SYSTEM OPERATOR

Summary You will serve as a UTILITY SYSTEM OPERATOR in the PUBLIC WORKS of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. This position is being recruited for the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) and may subsequently be realigned under the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). Responsibilities You will operate and maintain several potable water systems which require both non filtration and filtration processes to change the taste, odor, physical, chemical, or bacteriological content of the water. You will introduce chemical agents into the water systems to keep the water up to acceptable quality standards and maintain necessary records in the accordance with approved methods and procedures. You will perform chlorination disinfection on new and repaired water systems.
