Job Title: US Import & Export Freight Specialist (Ocean & Air)

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico

Reports to: Operations Director

Salary: $25,000 – $30,000 MXN/month (gross, depending on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a Freight Specialist to manage ocean and air freight operations on the US import/export trade lane, based in our Guadalajara office.

Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end ocean (FCL/LCL) and air freight operations for import and export shipments between Mexico and the USA Coordinate with carriers, airlines, trucking companies, and overseas agents on bookings, capacity, and transit times Prepare and verify shipping documents: Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, commercial invoice, packing list Liaise with customs brokers (Agente Aduanal) for import/export clearance in Mexico Track shipments and proactively update clients/HQ; resolve exceptions (delays, damages, shortages) Maintain accurate records in Ca...
