Upper Elementary/ Middle School Math/Science Teacher Queens

We are seeking someone who is comfortable with teaching Math, Science, STEM to students in grades 4-8.

• The candidate should have experience teaching through experimentation and inquiry based learning. 


• Familiarity with a variety of educational software and experience in using educational technology to enhance instruction


• Possess a through understanding of effective teaching proactices. 


• Create a stimulating learning environment that is sensitive to student's needs.


• Have the ability to use a variety of instructional strategies to engage and support a range of learners


• Develop and use a variety of assessments to measure and guide student progress


• Be able to align instruction to meet the NYS Next Generation Standards 


• Be able to work collaboratively with other teachers
