Role Description This is a remote contract role for an Unreal Engine Animator. The Unreal Engine Animator will create, implement, and refine character and creature animations in Unreal Engine 5, ensuring high-quality, believable motion for gameplay, cinematics, and in-engine sequences. Daily work includes importing and cleaning motion capture data, keyframe animating, adjusting rigs, and collaborating with technical artists to ensure proper integration and performance. The role involves working closely with directors, designers, and producers to interpret storyboards and briefs into compelling animated scenes. The animator will also contribute to animation pipelines, troubleshoot in-engine issues, and maintain clear communication with the broader production team.
