Job Description
Do you have experience working with children who have SEN or any transferrable skills, such as care/support worker setting, ambulance, police force, military, residential care, sports coach etc?
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for an SEN school based in Chelmsford. This role involves working with children either in a 1:1 setting or in small groups.
About the role
- Sociable hours, no weekends – 8.30 am to 3.30 pm.
- Provide one‑on‑one and group support to students with SEN.
- Assist with classroom activities and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support student development.
- Be a source of motivation, encouragement, and positivity for your students.
