Job Description
Be a key player at the University of Calgary as a Senior Advisor in Research Operations and Strategic Support. This 24-month fixed-term role focuses on high-level advisory support, strategic coordination, and effective issue management.
The Faculty of Science is searching for an individual with experience in fast-paced academic settings. Your role will involve supporting a Canada Research Chair while managing complex, confidential information and prioritizing operational tasks for successful research delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prioritize and triage requests for the CRC Chair
• Facilitate communication among research and central units
• Prepare concise briefings and manage logistics for meetings
• Own and coordinate operational processes end-to-end
• Support committee activities, including scheduling and follow-up
