Job Description
Make a vital contribution to New Gold's Rainy River Mine as an Underground Mine Trainer. Lead training for underground equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
In this permanent role, you will report to the Training Supervisor while delivering essential theoretical and practical training on underground equipment. You will develop lesson plans, conduct orientations, and maintain accurate training records while building strong relationships with trainees and stakeholders. A commitment to creating a safe and effective training environment is key to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Hard Rock Miner Common Core and specialty training modules
• Conduct Underground Orientation for new and transferred employees
• Facilitate training sessions tailored to various learning styles
• Maintain accurate compliance with training documentation
• Mentor experienced employees to enhance their skills
