Maximize safety and productivity as an Underground Charge Up Blaster in British Columbia. Leverage your blasting experience to handle explosives while adhering to critical safety standards.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will ensure the safe handling, storage, and transportation of explosives. We seek candidates with 2-5 years of underground mining experience, specifically in blasting roles. You'll prioritize effective communication and adherence to safety procedures to guarantee a secure working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all mine site safety regulations
• Assemble and load explosives in blast holes
• Conduct pre and post-blast inspections
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition
• Document work performed and equipment checks
