Job Description
**Unclaimed Property Specialist 2–** **Hybrid** **| Phoenix, AZ 85007**
Pay Rate: Starts at $18/Hr. + SoAZ Great Benefits
Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm | **Only Local Phoenix candidates.**
**Duties/Responsibilities**
• Investigate, process, and validate claims of ownership for unclaimed property following program rules, regulations, and legal requirements
• Communicate complex information to claimants and holders; determine property ownership status
• Conduct initial and follow-up interviews and investigations using deductive reasoning and independent judgment
• Review documents such as notarized affidavits, powers of attorney, wills, trusts, contracts, court documents, corporate resolutions, and minutes
• Gather and analyze information from varied sources; research records and reports to locate properties
• Interpret and apply statutes, regulations, and agency policy
• Approve payment of claims as warranted
