Job Description
Turret Punch Press Operator-- 3rd Shift
Operate CNC-controlled Turret Punch Press equipment safely and efficiently
Set up punches and dies in turret including alignment and locking procedures
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure dimensional accuracy
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
Verify finished part dimensions and identify defects before next production stage
Load and position raw material manually, with crane, forklift, or pallet jack
Maintain part consistency through in-line quality checks
Adjust tooling and machine settings as needed to maintain tolerances
Support material movement and workflow within production
Maintain safe, organized work environment and follow established safety standards
