Job Description: Class 1 City Driver – Full-Time (English/French) * Flatbed
Location: Montreal, QC
Starting Time: Shift starting from 4am to 7am
Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Class 1 City Driver with a minimum of 2 years of experience working within Canada or the USA. The ideal candidate must be reliable, punctual, and familiar with driving in the city of Montreal. Flatbed experience is essential, while dry van and reefer experience are welcomed. Familiarity with trucking technology, and availability for weekend work if desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate flatbed to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently
- Secure loads properly using straps, chains, and tarps as required
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate driving logs and paperwork
