Position Summary:
The Transportation Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing the daily transportation operations of our multi-temperature, technology-driven food service distribution center. This position is responsible for managing the drivers and fleet, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and actively supporting our team of drivers and operations staff to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Main Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
+ Process payroll and time sheets for all drivers, operations assistants, Transportation Clerks, and leads in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Manage driver dispatch schedules and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient operations.
+ Oversee Hours of Service (HOS) compliance by collaborating with the Master Scheduler to assess client routing feasibility and address any issues.
