Summary This position manages and operates a complex fleet of motor vehicles tor the facilities Management Service (FMS) at VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) under the supervision of the Grounds and Transportation Supervisor, Facilities Management. The incumbent is required to work under minimal supervision and resolve problems associated with the work of the office. Responsibilities Duties encompass, but are not limited to: Coordinates and performs routine tasks related to the operation of a complex fleet of motor vehicles ranging from subcompact sedans and station wagons to heavy trucks, buses, para transit vehicles, and special purpose vehicles. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that proper maintenance records are kept on all vehicles and pieces of equipment assigned. Incumbent is responsible for the submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual cost and estimated cost reports on vehicles. The incumbent orders new replacement equipment.
