Job Description

As Transport Planning Manager you will proactively lead and manage the local Planning Team, delivering a transport plan that effectively deploys the company’s transport assets. This plan should deliver compliance with relevant legislation, company procedures meets customer requirements and generate profit to the business.

x2 full time, permanent positions. Working 4 on 4 off days, 06.00-18.00 (38.5 hours)

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (DOE)

Key Duties of a Transport Planning Manager:

  • Manage the daily Transport plan by ensuring Team Leaders carry out daily duties.
  • Daily analysis of the P&L for each of their team’s planning boards
  • Regular monitoring of Empty Legs information
  • Regular monitoring of ISOTRAK's group analysis screen for their team resource pool
  • Monitoring status boards for the national fleet analysing booked, planned and completed jobs
