Example Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of a large, well-established transport and logistics company based near Wetherby. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add an additional Transport Planner to their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced operation where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and utilisation of the fleet. You’ll be working closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly and maximise load efficiency.
The Role
As a Transport Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating daily vehicle movements, ensuring routes are planned efficiently and cost-effectively while maximising fleet utilisation through effective backloading. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where no two days are the same, requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to think on your feet.
