Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner to join our Operations team. The candidate will be part of a larger Ops team who are responsible for co-ordinating all medical deliveries & collections nationwide for our hospital customers. You will be working alongside a number of other dynamic Ops teams all focused on providing a top quality customer experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Organising Multidrop deliveries around Leinster and nationwide in a timely manner.
- Efficient daily scheduling of Drivers collections & deliveries. Consolidating work as much as possible into efficient routes.
- Working with our logistics partners and overnight couriers to move our stock around in a 'same day' and 'next day' service.
- Utilising the company fleet effectively to reduce costs.
- Monitoring and proactively working on team and department KPIs. E.g. Collections completed by 2pm, spend on 3rd party ...
