Summary:
We are recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to lead the transport operation at a busy Leeds depot. Working a back shift starting at midday, Monday to Friday, you will take ownership of daily transport activity, driver management, fleet compliance and service performance, ensuring routes leave on time and all operational standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
As Transport Manager, you will be responsible for leading the depot transport team, maintaining full operator compliance and supporting a safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery operation.
Manage drivers and daily transport activity, ensuring sufficient resource is in place for the delivery requirement.
Monitor vehicle roadworthiness, driver walk-round checks, defects, PMI schedules and all aspects of operator compliance.
