Transport Admin Team Leader

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role as Transport Admin Team Leader at Widnes to oversee the execution of the Transport Admin Team and provide support/cover for the bulk planning and provide admin support to all areas of the transport team.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Ensure the Transport Admin team is suitably trained and supported to complete all daily tasks
• Provide admin support to the transport planning team
• Liaise with customer services/account managers/MDM to ensure the execution of all plans runs smoothly
• Liaise with operations and transport managers
• Provide holiday/sickness cover for the bulk planning
• Provide support/cover for the Transport Co‑ordinator, particularly related to failed deliveries
• Provide support/cover for the fleet administrator, particularly related to purchase orders
