Supervise and guide the on-shift operation of the Bulk Electric System during normal and emergency conditions. Perform day-ahead reliability analysis and load forecasting.Provide leadership and direction to the System Operators to ensure the system is operated in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner. Follow procedures to ensure PSE&G maintains compliance with FERC, NERC, PJM and RFC Mandatory Standards.Analyze disturbances on the Bulk Electric System to determine proper corrective action and determine if NERC, DOE, RFC, and PJM reporting is required. The consequence of non-compliance with a NERC Reliability Standard is NERC fines of up to $1 Million per day.Train, coach and guide ESOC personnel.
